Underground Donut Tour: Historyczna wycieczka po pączkach w Waszyngtonie

Przegląd

Join us for a historic Donut adventure through our nation’s capital, Washington DC. Our tour begins in Western Market, which has a legacy dating back to 1802! There we will sample donuts made from a business that’s been in the same family for five generations. From there we’ll head downtown, where we’ll see a restaurant favored by a former President before passing by the White House itself for a perfect photo op. After soaking in some history at Lafayette Square, we’ll head deeper into DC to try some local fan favorite donuts from local celebrities. From there, we’ll head down Palmers Alley, the most instagrammable spot in DC, where we’ll end our adventure with delectable donuts with an international flavor.

By the end, you’ll have made some great friends and enjoyed some incredible donuts and history. We hope you can join us today!

Jimmy was amazingly knowledgeable on donuts, folklore, and DC history!! Went with two small children and 2 adults and everyone had a great time. The donuts from all places were great. We had trouble pinpointing which was our favorite. We will do this tour again!!

A super fun tour for families and young singles or couples alike. The Underground DC tour was great because you got to sample a huge variety of donuts at four different places withing walking distance from each other. Along the way our awesome tour guide, Jimmy, gave some pertinent local history as well as fun facts about donuts. It was a great mix of light fun and some education. Be sure to dress for the weather. We went on a day in the 20's, but we were prepared with hats and gloves, so we were comfortable, but we also walked with hot drinks so that helped too. Definitely recommend!

This was SUCH a fun experience! I used to live in DC so I'm not your typical tourist, and I thought this would be fun to do while visiting friends there. (I dragged a friend who's lived in DC for over a decade, and he loved it as well. We even went to a few places he hadn't heard of!) Our guide, Jimmy, was welcoming and funny, and he made sure we were all having a good time from start to finish. The donuts were delicious and although it's advertised as walking a decent amount it really isn't that much - it's broken up into small segments with donut breaks in between. Overall, this is a really fun and delicious way to spend a few hours in DC! (Tip: do NOT eat before you go on this tour.)
