My husband and I had been to Chicago many times so we were looking for something different to do. the mob and gangster tour did not disappoint. Our guide ("Shoulders") was dressed up as a gangster, was interesting, lively and engaged. We would definitely recommend this tour.

This was a really good tour. The vehicle is just like a US yellow school bus but in black with the untouchable tours livery. The two escorts are completely in gangster role. We had the driver 'Rocco Johnson' and the guide 'Biggy Blue Eyes'. The tour was very interesting visiting the famous sites of mobster notoriety. Really informative and a great humorous delivery by the guys who made the tour such fun. This is not a stuffy historical lecture of 1930's Chicago but a light hearted insight into the prohibition era and the gangland characters eg Capone, Moran and Dillinger. If English is not your first language then you may have difficulty keeping up with the patter and banter as the delivery is fast and in Chicago mobster drawl. Easy to find pick up point and good value. This is a popular tour so I would recommend pre-booking tickets as if you just turn up in the hope of getting on board you maybe be disappointed. Go on -have some fun!

I really wanted this to be good. On the positive side, the tour did show us parts of Chicago I wouldn't have seen otherwise. However, in an hour and forty five minute tour, I learned nothing. The host was not informative, somewhat distracted, and didn't give me any sense of what life was like in 1920's Chicago. He left much to be desired, starting stories and trailing off. I was ready for a cheesy "acting" tour that takes you back in time- what we got left much to be desired.
