Our 12U baseball team was in town so we all decided to try white water rafting. I was lucky enough to have TJ as my guide. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining! Made the trip a 10/10! Would highly recommend trying it out!

We had a great rafting trip with SMO. We booked on short notice, but there were many options available. Booking online was easy, and we received email and text confirmation/reminders. The rafting location is a solid 30-40 minutes from Gatlinburg, so plan accordingly; also, lockers are available for valuables but require $2 cash, exact bills only. Our guide, Ryan, was safe and knowledgeable, and he made the trip very enjoyable. Numerous rafting companies use the same river access point, but the rafts spread out quickly, and it never felt crowded. The photographer got some fun shots of our family, and there was a lot of merch available for purchase, if you are interested in souvenirs. We would definitely use SMO again.

Loved this adventure. Dean was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and everyone had a great time. This trip was our favorite of all the things we did while on vacation in the Smokies. Highly recommend. I was a little nervous myself, not being a great swimmer; Dean knew the river very well and we didn't have any issues. We even got out to swim at one point for a few minutes.
