The Valley of Fire was magnificent and we had a beautiful (if chilly) day. Our tour guide, Chris Brennan, was friendly and knowledgeable throughout the trip.
The vehicle only holds ten passengers so you are guaranteed a small group adventure. The one negative is that it is difficult to get in and out of the jeep which we did numerous times. You have to bend low to walk into it, and we all bump our heads on several occasions.
The provided lunch was adequate but nothing special. The only beverage provided was bottled water, of which there was an unlimited supply. Unfortunately we were there on a chilly day, and you have to eat your lunch at an outside picnic table. The upside to this is that no one dawdles, and we were back on our way in a short time. However, overall, a restaurant of some sort on the way back to Las Vegas may have been more comfortable.
