Recording about history of train and surounding area was too low to hear over indoor speakers. Even when people on train stopped talking to try to hear. But blasted music afterwards was crazy loud to the point that you could barely talk to friends. Guides had no microphones outside & we couldn't hear over train noises. Guide really tried though. Finally got tired of asking guide to repeat himself. He really needed a microphone! Food was really good and snacks onboard train were really good. Train was cool and scenery was great. Train ride was fun.

The train ride was a bit long at 4 hours and if you are an odd number of people be prepared to not be seated together. We were 3 and my daughter and I sat at a table with 2 chairs. They sat my son with another family that had 2 couches and table between them. The website is misleading because it said we may have a fourth person sitting with us, but I noticed they have since reworded it.

We appreciate you riding with us and sharing this feedback. We always aim to be very clear about how odd-numbered parties are seated. When the train is sold out as it often is (currently 408 seats total), we do sell every seat, which means odd-numbered parties will be seated together but seating will meet another odd-numbered party in the middle. Usually this is not an issue as people get up often during the trip to go to an adjacent outdoor car. Frequently folks even make friends with their neighbors. We're sorry it was a negative for your trip.

This was an absolutely fantastic experience. Total takes about 3 1/2 hours for the entire train ride. The train is very beautiful inside furnished and comfortable with a bar inside and we had our own host taking drink orders inside. The ride itself is absolutely beautiful going through many canyons and mountains. It’s a once in a lifetime experience that I recommend you take. It’s hard to explain in words because it is just so magnificent and so beautiful. In between the trains there is an outdoor train that you can get off on and look at all the beautiful canyons and mountains in nature we had a tour guide also that was explaining all the different archaeological points throughout the whole train ride. Inside the train you are provided a charcuterie board with cheese, meats, brownie,fruit a small bottle of champagne and two waters. We were able to get so many beautiful pictures, but pictures cannot do justice to the beauty of the scenery that is surrounding you, it is absolutely gorgeous!!. The train ride was very comfortable and we felt like first class. You can order drinks of any type inside, but they don’t have food inside just the charcuterie board before the train ride, they allow you to eat lunch there (they have sandwiches and fries and types of stuff )and they serve alcoholic drinks as well which I thought was nice. It is important to get there early enough to make sure that you are able to get your train ride ticket and to be able to have lunch if you want to eat before the train ride l,as the train ride is pretty long. overall I highly recommend it!!if you’re going to book you need to book in advance unfortunately I didn’t book in advance on TripAdvisor, but I was able to go to their website and book online there so if you can’t find tickets on TripAdvisor, then go to their website directly and book Just remember this they do not give you an email confirmation so you do need to make sure you print your confirmation ticket out just in case there are issues. We had no issues boarding as when we went to the front they had our tickets ready to go. I would highly recommend this. It’s 10 out of 10 definitely,a five star experience ride and I will definitely take it again!!!
