The tour was very informative & interesting. We went specifically to see Stars Hallow as my 14 year old daughter is currently enjoying the show. She was super excited for the experience.
I would recommend going early (we had the 11:30 am tour). Parking was easy & plentiful when we arrived at 11 a.m., but super full when we left at like 3:30 pm. Arrive early to enjoy the lobby. There’s a Starbucks, a great gift shop to pre-shop (wait to buy when you leave as there are other shops), and some cool displays. They will hold your purchase if you don’t want to wait to buy your treasures.
The tour/golf cart experience was fun, pretty interesting facts. The tour ended at the Friends cafe which is amazing. Lots of fun photo opportunities. But know that there were lots of other food/drink options in the Stars Hallow experience. There are plenty of photo opportunities—stand in line early at your favs, i.e. Luke’s. The lines do get long. If you don’t want a photo at Lorelei’s, you can walk right in. It’s super cute, lots to see and experience. Lots of snack/food options. It’s really cute and fun. My moody teenager actually smiled a lot and had so much fun, even though it was just us two.
Plenty of souvenirs to purchase, lots of photo opportunities with no lines. There were also plenty of bathrooms. We didn’t walk a bunch, per se, but we did stand a lot. It’s fun to watch Gilmore Girls after the experience to see how camera angles work & to see Hollywood magic in action. It was a great day. Not sure I would enjoy it as much if it wasn’t decorated for the holidays, but it would still be worth it.
