James was super knowledgeable and made sure to keep everyone on track. I loved that he was firm but kind with people who were being kind of rude to the rest of us. I didn’t want to have to tell people to talk quieter so the rest of us could hear him but he would politely ask them to be mindful of the rest of us. He was courteous of our time and made sure we stayed on track. He laid out expectations which I really appreciated. Kris also made sure to count us when we got off and on, and directed traffic for us to cross the street. He was also really masterful at driving and parking the bus, there were some turns that you could tell he had done so many times and knew the dimensions of the bus like it was part of him. I was in a car accident a little over a year ago where I was hit by a drunk driver. I get anxious when I’m on the road not the one driving, but he was so skilled and I was so distracted by James giving information that I didn’t realize how much less anxious I was on the ride.
