We went out around lunch time which is best because the wind was down. With in minutes we were on the whales, not just one but many. We stayed with a mother and calf for a while and enjoyed the interactions. The trip was 2 hours of fun and up close experience only found in Maui. Great crew and quick trip from the beach. The only draw back is the expense parking.

Thank you! It was our pleasure to take you out on an adventure. It is always incredible when the whales decide to put on a show for us. As far as the parking, the restaurants and stores will all validate if you buy lunch or something while in Whalers Village. Also, there is free beach access parking at each resort along Kaanapali Beach, however they do tend to fill up early. Thanks again and please come out again soon. Mahalo!

We had a great time with first mate Sara and Captain Sam. Both ladies were friendly, knowledge, fun and eager to please. The seas were pretty rough and we all got quite wet but it was all in good fun. We saw lots of Hawaiian spinner dolphins and saw one whale breach and another one surface...wish we'd seen more whales but that is no reflection on the charter. I highly recommend! Would definitely book with them again.

The spinner dolphins and the whales are so amazing. And even when the seas aren't quite optimal it is still a wonderful experience to see the island from a different perspective. Having fun and outgoing guests like you is the best part of our jobs. Please come back and join us again soon. Mahalo!

AMAZING whale experience. We had the best time with the crew aboard the magic merman. Jason was very knowledgeable and shared some really cool facts about whales with us along the way. This boat is smaller than others which means you can zip around quickly to see all the whale action. We went in the afternoon sail and saw at least 30 whales- lots of breaching and tons of babies too! We also got to boat alongside a pod of spinner dolphins which was also amazing! Highly highly recommend for anyone looking to do a whale watch!
