We had an amazing experience on the Magic Merman! The staff was so attentive and kind. The Naturalist Bethany was so incredibly informative and enthusiastic! You can just tell how much she loves what she does. We had kind of “adventurous” conditions on the day we went out but the captain was such a pro and it was a great ride!

You go to Maui in March for the sun and beach, but also to see the Whales. We did a lot of research and the vast majority of tours were on larger vessels with up to 50 plus people. Our tour with Magic Merman was on a smaller boat with just 20 people, everyone getting a window seat. Our tour guide Bethany was absolutely fantastic, bursting with energy and knowledge. Not only did we see Whales, but were fortunate enough to have a mother and calf, come within 20 feet of the boat and both swam several times under us. This is a fantastic company that we would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a smaller group, and great service. We had such a great time we went twice with Magic Merman in the span of 4 days. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime.

What an incredible adventure! Jill and her naturalist Bethany, provided a once in a lifetime experience for us! Their expertise allowed us to not only see the whales (and dolphins, too!) but to learn so many new things about these majestic creatures. Jill and Bethany were the best! Do yourself a favor and book your whale watch with this company! You will love your experience!!!
