We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

The excursion was seamless. Pick up and drop off on schedule. The boat and crew were great. We were a small group of less than 10 people and the captain was fun and entertaining. We did see a couple whales blow and just the back as they glided thru the water, but saw bald eagles up very close and a mink. Tide was slow and saw starfish on the rocks. All in all very satisfying and fun. Snacks on board and blankets if needed.

The ride was relaxing and it was a nice day. The staff were also friendly. We got to see eagles and seals, but no whales, unfortunately. We would’ve been more content paying $195 had we seen one. But, we knew the risk we had to take so that’s really on us.

Hi Gladysm849! Thank you for your review! I’m glad you had nice weather for your tour! It rains so much here we really appreciate the nice days! I’m glad to hear our staff was friendly and you found the experience to be relaxing. We do our best to find as many different examples of marine life as we possibly can. I’m glad you saw the seals and eagles. It’s unfortunate we didn’t catch a whale on your tour! We have over a 95% success rate in locating Humpback whales on our tours. We are viewing them in their natural habitat and not in an aquarium or penned in area. Sometimes they deviate from their regular migratory patterns. Thank you for your understanding in that there is a risk involved when booking our tour.

Slow start - no whales etc But capt found pod of Orcas and it was great plenty of time to observe and photograph
