We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

Talk about a fantastic find! We made a stab in the dark and found the most exciting tour of the day! Capt Jesse and his right there Assistant, Kaylee were fabulous. They promised us whales and they delivered. Capt Jesse maneuvered up close to pod B-7. We saw several members of the pod including a magnificent bull with a female and 2 smaller ones. Later they took us to a place where eagles bnest and Kaylee fedd then with raw fish. She whistled and would throw the fish in the air. These magnificent birds would catch it in flight. We counted about 12 individual birds flying and circling overhead. Everyone in our group highly recommends this tour.

Getting to the pier only to find out the captain left early. I had not gotten any communication explaining where to meet

Hi Atiene_t, We always communicate with guests regarding our meeting place. The meeting instructions are on your confirmation of booking and on your ticket that you print out from Trip Advisor. We have our meeting place listed on our website and all booking platforms. We request everyone meet 20-30 minutes prior to their departure, so that we can call you at 15 minutes before helping you over the phone to get to our meeting place. If you arrive on a NCL ship we email you before the date of your tour explaining the free shuttle. We will often hold the boat an additional 10-15 minutes for people if we know they are making every effort to arrive and provided we have the extra time to so. We DON’T leave early unless ALL guests are accounted for.
