My son and I had a great experience thanks to the owner, Pete. Very knowledgeable gent. Prior to the visit I emailed Pete information about my late Father's experience in World War 2 and Pete tailored his presentation to address the weapons and environment that my Dad encountered while serving in General Patton's 4th Armored Division. Pete did a great job of personalizing the experience. We spent time in his shop reviewing small arms from the allies and the evil axis and Pete allowed us to select the weapons that we would ultimately fire: Russian Mosin Rifle, U.S. M-1, Luger, U.S.45 pistol, British Sten Machine Gun and then the mack daddy: Browning M-1919 30 caliber machine gun on tripod. We shot at paper targets of Hitler!!!! I was stunned by the power of the Mosin Rifle. The sound, shock waves and recoil certainly kicked my butt. This was a wonderful experience and I learned so much!!!
