William was a knowledgeable, personable, dry, humored, young man who knew so much about downtown Austin. You didn’t feel the 90 minute walking because he had something to teach you at every point. It was a great way to get to know the city on our first day in town. I would recommend it for adults primarily, though teenagers would enjoy as well.

The tour was light on history and more geared towards restaurants and music news. Our tour guide did not seem sufficiently knowledgeable about the history of Austin.

Had a great tour with Jake....he knew a lot of city history and had a great personality. You know your tour guide is a true Texan when he can walk the entire tour in cowboy boots :) This is a good tour to take at the beginning of your visit if you want an overview of town. Highly recommend! Thanks, Jake!
