There were times when the audio was not matching our current location. And with a recorded audio, there was no opportunity to ask questions or have someone point to whatever it was being discussed. That was especially true when streets were closed and we had no idea that we weren't looking at what was being discussed. It was nice to get an overview of the city. It gave us a chance to get off and ride again, but our experience in other cities with similar services made this one seem sub-par.

This was our first trip to New York City. We had been told to use the Big Bus Hop-On Hop-Off to find our way around the city. We were extremely impressed with the service. The drivers were all so kind and helpful. I definitely recommend the Big Bus Hop-On Hop-Off to anyone visiting NYC. There was one hiccup when we first arrived to get on the bus. I had booked online for both routes for two days. They were only running one route that day due to road closures for the holiday. They said I could ride the one route for two days and gave me a third FREE to ride both routes all day. It was really nice to have the third day.
