I purchased tours for both downtown and uptown. When we completed the downtown portion and went to start the uptown portion of the trip, I was told that there was a parade going on in parts of uptown and therefore the buses would be suspending the rest of the trip. I paid full price for both tours, wasn’t given any notice of the cancellation, and wasn’t refunded or prorated.

I’ve used Big Bus tours in multiple cities around the world and always had great experiences, until New York. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst. The tour was badly organized from the start, with no clear instructions or support from the staff. When I tried asking basic questions, the staff were incredibly rude and even shouted at me for trying to get some clarification. The level of disrespect was shocking and completely unlike any of my other experiences with this company. It’s a real shame, as I was looking forward to this tour and expected much better from Big Bus. I would not recommend the New York service based on this experience.

It was a good ride you went to see a number of things it would have been nice to have a little bit of narration but I think you have to pay extra or I'm not sure if they even do that but they didn't tell me when I got off to use the bathroom that I was not allowed back on the bus after 5:30 so basically by the time I got my ticket and got there I had about 2 hours on the bus and I was never told during the whole time I was talking with them that I could only use the ticket up till 5:30 I even asked them and they bypass the question that I did not like when I said I needed to just get off for a minute and I would be back on the bus the bus driver goes oh that's great yes come back on the bus I went to use the facilities came back and he said oh no you can't get back on the bus and then explain to me that I can only use it up until 5:30 which I was never told
