Had a great time. Went with my wife and son of 11yrs. We saw many Comb Jellies and got a chance to hold a few. It was really cool. The bio-luminescence was not really like the pics but we did see them glow. The guide (Ellias) did say we had one of the best nights this season. He (Elias) was very helpful and informative as well as his assistant (Alexis) who brought up the rear and made sure nobody got left behind. It's very nerve-racking when you fall behind and the lights of the other kayakers start disappearing. She helped my son, who was in a single Kayak, and tagged along with my wife and myself on the way back. Elias scooped a bunch of Cone Jellies to give us a hands on experience. Even if we had not seen any bio-luminescence, the trip would have been worth it. Kayaking at night is truly a very different and unique adventure. My wife does not swim, it was drizzling most of the time, and she still enjoyed it. Highly recommend this for anyone if seeking something different than the amusement parks.
Of note, we did not have any issues with bugs, perhaps because of the weather being a bit chilly (70's), or the rain, or the bug spray we used. Also no issue with the bathroom. Just go before you get there, like they inform you, the one there is just an outhouse.

Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your guides Eli & Alexis and your tour. The Comb Jellies are always awesome to see, especially during the New Moon. Glad to hear that despite the drizzling rain you all had a great time on tour. We do hope to see you in the future!!
