Jim did a fabulous job bringing history to life and showing us hidden areas of Charleston I had not seen before. From work by a local but renowned Architect ( take the tour to know more 😉) to the old slave mart ( how did or does anyone ever consider another human being something to be bought and sold? 😔) to the story of the dots on a alcoholic beverage store ( who knew?!) Beautiful quaint alleyways and stunning homes preserved for years to come. You’ll love this walk around the Holy City. (Note to self: next time take bug spray!)

This tour is a huge bang for your buck! I would highly recommend it. Evans, our guide, is very knowledgeable and entertaining. He is a true Charlestonian and it shows as he meets and greets friends and pets along the way. This tour has it all: history, architecture, gardens, folklore. Thanks again, Evans, for one of our favorite experiences of our time in Charleston!
