The tour was wonderful. Bought tickets on short notice on the internet. The communication where you would be picked up or dropped was almost none exciting.

The tour advertised hotel pickup, but after I reserved it I received a message from the tour company that they could not pick us up at the hotel and to walk several blocks away in front of a souvenir store. The tour bus picked us up there. No one checked us in. No one gave us an information. When we arrived at the Bayside Park/Shopping area we were told to get off the bus and get on another bus. I asked the tour guide about our cruise. He told us to go to the check-in booth (and pointed) instead of boarding the other bus. Well, he was wrong about the check-in location. He was wrong about not boarding the other bus. We ended up missing half of the City Tour. I called the tour company multiple times to find the correct check-in location. Also, I learned that we had been marked as a "no show" since we did not check in at the tour company offices! They sent us completely to the wrong place to begin the tour! To make amends they gave us a fee makeup tour later in the week. It went much more smoothly. It was a better tour with an almost completely different itinerary than the first one. Oh, and others on the tour had worse problems that we did, like the family who had one disabled member that was dropped off a mile from their hotel.

If you haven’t been to Miami before I’d suggest to take this tour. We did the city and boat tour combined. It was a good tour. Sitting on top of the double decker bus definitely give you better view to see the city. The tour guide was resourceful and on time. The city tour took about 2 hour then they let us go for a lunch break at Bay side shopping center for 45 minutes. We reconvened at the same spot to start the boat tour. It was really good tour to see the entire city from Miami bay and seeing the celebrities mansions on the island. Overall it’s a good tour and really worth to try. I’d recommend to go on the earliest schedule to avoid long waiting lines at their starting point.
