Looking to get out on the water while you're in Orange County - definitely consider this dolphin and whale safari. A truly knowledgeable and friendly crew to guide you and take you out to sea. I notice they don't offer a 3-hour tour, probably has something to do with Gilligan but you definitely get your money's worth. It's a no frills kind of adventure - bring drinks and snacks with you, but we got to see 2 different types of dolphins - sadly no whales - almost one but he didn't ended up resurfacing. Even on an overcast day we had a boat=load of fun!

We had a great time during the trip that left at 10:30 with Captain Alex and First Mate Hannah. There was plenty of room with 18 passengers on the catamaran. They found a pod of hundreds of common dolphins. They gave us a choice of staying with the pod or trying to find a whale or different type of dolphin. We appreciated Hannah's energy and all of the info she shared with us. The crew was very helpful to the senior citizens on board making sure that they were comfortable. We would definitely do it again.
