A wonderful dolphin/whale experience! We have used Capt. Dave's on several trips to California and are never disappointed!! Great staff, fun boats (with viewing in the pontoons). They always have a naturalists on board to talk about the marine life. We saw 7 whales and hundreds of dolphins on our last trip. Highly recommend.

OMG. Seriously. First of all, we had spectacular sunny weather in November and calm seas...and then the sightings were out of this world. Humpback and fin whales (my first time for them) and thousands of bottlenose and common dolphins. I've done many dozens of whale watching trips in Monterey Bay, and this was my first time since moving to San Diego. It was just incredible. The boat crew (Captain Chuck, Matt, and Michale) and the staff were wonderful. They had great humor and were clearly concerned about conservation and the well-being of the animals, and just overall made it a great experience. I love the boat...there's lots of room to spread out and the catamaran makes for a smoother experience. This is my new favorite thing to do in Souther California.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Weather was perfect and the sunset incredible! Great, friendly & helpful Captain and crew. Found a school of dolphins who literally “played” with us for about 30 minutes as they surrounded the boat and chaperoned. No whales this trip but it’s always a gamble what you see. Nice boat, smooth ride and everything on time. Would definitely do this again!
