Your route also includes a pass by the iconic U.S. Custom House in Charleston, S.C. Construction began in 1852 but was halted due to South Carolina's potential secession from the Union. The building was finally completed in 1879, adding to Charleston's rich history.

We had a fabulous tour. Our guide, Dick, was funny and knowledgable. The horses are all beautiful! We found it so interesting that they drink beer. Who knew!

We had Dave as our guide and Donald as our horse and they were great! Dave has a vast knowledge of the historical homes and history of Charleston. We appreciated his humor as well. It was very chilly but we were given blankets which were very much appreciated. We have only toured several times with Palmetto Carriage and have enjoyed each one and the knowledge that’s shared. The horses are well cared for and everything is very clean. Being able to purchase your tickets online is very convenient. I would definitely recommend their tour.
