Once we were dropped off here by our tour company, they handed us over to the park employees. Our airboat ride was ready straight away so we boarded a boat (after the obligatory - and free - photo being taken). Our guide/air boat driver was great and funny. He gave us lots of info about the Everglades and the wildlife. We saw 4 alligators during our 1 hour tour on the airboat. The airboats are covered so you are sat in the shade which was a god send as it was so hot. After this we went to the the Gator Boys shows - this was a very quick show - about 15 mins. One of the Gator Boys gets shows you an alligator and gives you some info on them and then does some tricks with them. Following this you can have your picture taken with a baby alligator or a very small snake. This place offers food, a gift shop, toilets etc. It is not a very big place from what I can tell but they made us feel welcome and we had a nice time.

We spent an afternoon at the Everglades and it was fantastic. We had Captain chaos as our air boat captain. He was great - very entertaining and he talks to the gators like they are his pets, I love it!!! And they respond. Answering his calls and coming towards the boat like a dog bringing its ball back. We saw lots of Gators. They are massive, strong looking creatures but if you look into their eyes, you can see their beauty. It is always a perfect experience to see any animal in its own environment. After the air boat ride we watched a gator wrestler, and a girl at that. She was strong, dragging the gator out of the water with ease, and opening his enormous jaws while resting her chin on his!!!!! What an amazing job she has. I was happy to hear they go out and rescue the "problem" gators and have a no kill policy. Had a fab afternoon there and I highly recommend going along to enjoy these amazing creatures in their natural habitat.

We had a really good time. Our captain Mike was very nice and informative. We saw around 5 or 6 alligators and we learned some interesting facts. The ride and the show are not too long, so you can do something else afterwards. I loved our souvenir pictures!
