The collection, wait, safety and return were very well organised - no excessive waiting we did 4 other tours which weren't organised well.

The flight however was tedious, and I was glad when it was over - no one tipped the pilot I found out after we all agreed NOT AS SOLD ONLINE


Lake Mead seemed the star not the canyon, we got to see all of that!
The slow progress was explained as height but we barely reached 110 on the speedo - and earlier flight with another company had been about 130-40.
our flight turned at the same point all the others do no as described when I phoned America other than one single point none of us thought we had gone below the rim, the helicopter maintained the flattest, slowest, straightest path it was possible to do.
Again not as described on the phone.
What is the point having a helicopter which can weave in and out, swoop over and drop down allowing passengers to experience the contours of the canyon and not doing that those were the things in the phone description as well as further into the canyon than competition.
A cheap plane flight would have given me more thrills without the tedium - 70 minutes of slow progress and opportunities missed is quite frustrating.
We had more feel for the canyon in a 7 min heli ride when we were dropped off for a boat trip and could have saved ourselves this not unappreciable cost. THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BOOK.

From the pick up at the hotel to the drop back, 5star were professional and reassuring that we had picked a good company before our trip to USA. Elijah was our pilot and we felt safe and comfortable with his knowledge and skill. An enjoyable trip and gets my highest recommendation

Fantastic tour of the Grand Canyon, lake Mead, Hooverdam!
Pilot was very knowledgeable and we highly recommend this tour. It is so much better than we even imagined.
