From first time climbers to competition team kids, there are opportunities for fantastic climbing in Joshua Tree National Park. We have experience guiding families with mixed climbing experience and know the best crags to serve everyone's ambitions! Regardless of your experience level, desires or goals there is a fantastic rock climbing trip ready and waiting for you!!! We have guided ages 2- 80 and have specialty equipment such as tiny rock climbing helmets, sticky rubber baby climbing shoes and full body harnesses for little people or pregnant moms! The 4-Hour Trip is great for people who want to focus on rock climbing. Typically, we keep the approaches short and visit only 1-2 rock formations so that we spend the bulk of your trip climbing as many routes as possible!

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE for our family of 6! I can't speak highly enough about Stone Adventures and our guides. They were fantastic with our kids, even the little ones only 5 and 6 , and helped everyone climb as far as they were comfortable . They were encouraging and also patient and very knowledgeable and professional. We had such a fun and interesting day and most importantly I felt my kids were in safe hands. I was really impressed at how the guides combined family-friendliness and real skill teaching. The customer service was also excellent-- I had originally booked this trip in March 2020 and obviously had to cancel, but they very happily honored our reservation nearly 2 years later and we couldn't have been more pleased. This was definitely the highlight of our california trip.

Wonderful guides! Worked great with kids, and adults. Everyone enjoyed the morning, it was the highlight of our trip to Joshua Tree NP.

It was my family's first time climbing and Stone Adventures made it so much fun! Our guide Connor was an expert and made it safe and fun! It was the experience of a lifetime- we want to go back and do it again!
