From first time climbers to competition team kids, there are opportunities for fantastic climbing in Joshua Tree National Park. We have experience guiding families with mixed climbing experience and know the best crags to serve everyone's ambitions! Regardless of your experience level, desires or goals there is a fantastic rock climbing trip ready and waiting for you!!! We have guided ages 2- 80 and have specialty equipment such as tiny rock climbing helmets, sticky rubber baby climbing shoes and full body harnesses for little people or pregnant moms! The 4-Hour Trip is great for people who want to focus on rock climbing. Typically, we keep the approaches short and visit only 1-2 rock formations so that we spend the bulk of your trip climbing as many routes as possible!

Amazing experience! My daughter and I loved our rock climbing adventure in Joshua Tree National Park with Stone Adventures. Stephen is an incredible guide and wonderful with children. We especially loved conquering the Chasm of Doom! Many thanks for an unforgettable day!

Can't say enough great things about our experience. We booked a half day for three adults and one child (age 9), all with little to no experience. We were paired with Stephen and Connor - they were amazing!! They were knowledgeable, supportive, and patient. Both were super encouraging and pushed us to challenge ourselves (in the best way possible). And most importantly, they were just fun to hang out with for the day. We all had a blast, and will definitely book again the next time we visit.

I can't say enough awesome things about our experience with Stone Adventure in Joshua Tree over the Thanksgiving week. Stephen and Brad were our guides and they were so supportive, knowledgeable and fun. They were fantastic with my two kids (aged 7 and 10) making them laugh, teaching them important skills, encouraging them, and most importantly making them feel safe to explore and challenge themselves. I haven't climbed outdoor in years and my husband is totally new and they made us also feel safe and supported. Worth every last penny and we can't wait to head out with this crew again!
