While I understand 11:30 Am isn't the best time of day to see wildlife, our boat driver could have used some of our time, telling us and all the children aboard about the sawgrass area, and the creatures that live there. Our guy has been doing this for 52 years so he said, to another visitor, before we launched, so perhaps he's just riding out his last few years. But when you drop a Buck fifty to teach your kids something on vacation, I expected them to learn something. We did luck out and see one Alligator, very briefly so most on the boat thought the trip a success. I left feeling disappointed. After the ride, the folks in the nature (mini zoo) area were great! the kids held a small alligator, and enjoyed hearing from the staff on some of the other creatures in the enclosures. For that reason I'll give this review a 4 if you get lucky and get one of the other very informative air-boat pilots you will have a fantastic time, gators sightings or not.
