We generally don’t do organized tours when travelling, preferring to explore on our own. However, with Savannah’s rich history, we decided to break from the norm and book a historical walking tour. I did a lot of research before choosing this one, and I am glad that I did. The tour was fantastic. Our guide TC was absolutely amazing. As a college instructor, I know how hard it is to sound fresh when repeating the same material lecture after lecture, semester after semester. It felt like TC was sharing the city’s history for the first time—he was very knowledgeable, energetic, passionate, and entertaining, and his enthusiasm was genuine. We learned an awful lot about the city, past and present, and he even gave us a great recommendation for lunch afterwards. The ear buds are a very nice inclusion, so that we could still hear him even if we lingered back for a bit. He also made a point of stopping only in shaded areas—a welcome touch in the summer heat. On that note, bring plenty of water if you do take the tour in the summer months. I very highly recommend this tour! Thanks, TC!

We have been to Savannah many times but chose this tour because of the not typical approach. It was interesting and creative with stories, visuals and music to entertain. We highly recommend over the large group and tour bus tours.
