The train can accommodate a motorized scooter if it is no wider than 25 inches. There is a special lift to lift the scooter onto the train.
Please note: Arizona doesn't observe Day Light Savings and switches between MST (Mountain Standard Time) and PST (Pacific Standard Time) depending on the season.

We went on the Pullman Car and enjoyed the experience even tho it was a bit advanced for a 4 year old and his 16 month old brother. I rather enjoyed not having to drive that distance from the freeway for a change and then do all the road stops after for pictures. The stay at the canyon was just enough if you are like me and been there 5-6 times. Spring Break crowds and the middle of the day made for few pictures without someone else in them but it was ok. The awe and beauty of the canyon were on display with clear skies and lower temperatures.

I had an an incredible time riding this train 2 hours to/from The Grand Canyon. Rob was our PSA (“Part Flight Attendant, Part Tour Guide, Part Bad Comedian -Rob) and his passion for The Canyon really made a world of difference for me and our group. He had an infectious laugh, great advice about how to maximize our experience, and he made the entire train ride feel fun and exciting. It’s people like him who make the difference between “just a train ride” to an unforgettable experience. Rob, if you’re reading this, thank you for making our first time at the Grand Canyon one of the best memories.

Great views and fun way to get to the Grand Canyon. I highly recommend. The staged robbery was a little hokey but still fun and kids loved it. The lunch was nice. Very relaxing and enjoyable
