The train can accommodate a motorized scooter if it is no wider than 25 inches. There is a special lift to lift the scooter onto the train.
Please note: Arizona doesn't observe Day Light Savings and switches between MST (Mountain Standard Time) and PST (Pacific Standard Time) depending on the season.

We had a great time riding into the Grand Canyon. The train was well kept, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the live music was really fun.

The man who assisted in our car was excellent. Enjoyed the buffet on each leg. The singers were great. The bank robbers were fun.

We thought this was fun. Relaxing trip-we splurged on luxury dome seats. Pastries and fruit in the morning, veggies, cheese and salami in the afternoon. Complimentary soft drinks. And a full bar (not complimentary). We ordered mimosas with our breakfast and I would guess each drink was 10 ounces of champagne and a tablespoon of juice. For those who are wondering, you do not see the canyon from the train—it is transportation to the canyon through arid land and pine forests. We did see a small herd of elk and some antelope on the ride back. We like trains and kids might like the silly western show. If you have never been to the Grand Canyon and want a full day of exploring, this not for you. You get just over 3.5 hours at the park. But if you aren’t up for a long day exploring and want a break from driving, try it.
