Hana has been the most requested tour on Maui for years. Those who live here know that the road to Hana is what we all want to see, and "Halfway to Hana" gives that all to you. It's all within 6 1/2 hours, instead of the long all day full Hana tours. We use Lincoln Navigators (SUV) which has Five " first class"seats and two coach size seats. Your professional guide Summer has driven this road for 20 years, and Sean for 35 years. Everything that's fun to do on this road will be mentioned and offered, including a rich update of any Hawaiian affairs if asked. It's good to go with a local.

We offer private if you book all of the seats in a 7 passenger Lincoln navigator and shared if you're booking less. Booking seven seats gives you the whole vehicle. Couples may be in two SUV's following each other at times, 8 stops.

Please bring "reef walkers" if you would like to take a dip in a waterfall, rain jacket as well. If you have motion sickness make sure you have your remedy.

Pua'a Ka'a State Park
Puaʻa Kaʻa State Wayside Park is a state park on the island of Maui, Hawaiʻi. It is located along the Hana Highway approximately 39 mi east of Kahului. The area consists of 5 acres of rainforest with waterfalls and pools. The park is at an elevation of 1,200 ft and roughly 0.5 mi away from Waiohue Bay. Deep in the rainforest this beautiful waterfall beckons you to take a dip, so bring an extra set of clothes and "Reef Walker" type shoes to wade in and walk out safely. Walking up to the waterfall and small pathways brings you throughout this stop with bathrooms and sitting areas, this is a very popular location. This is the turnaround location for this tour. If there is room, we can stop for lunch that we purchase prior to arriving. A must see and do if the water quality allows. Remember, this is a subtropical rainforest and a large rainfall deep in the forest can bring a surge of muddy water at any time so we help you choose out of two locations to take a dip. Rain or shine, its great!
2
Ke'anae Arboretum
This stop involves walking through a subtropical rainforest and seeing everything that can grow on a small trail into the forest. Many professional photography opportunities. You also should bring shoes to get muddy as it rains often.
3
Haipua'ena Falls
One of my favorite waterfalls if we can stop and get into them. This waterfall is restricted to seeing it from only the bridge, according to the owner of the property. This is a perfect example of an amazing waterfall with private access. There are other waterfalls on this road that have public Access.
4
Kaumahina State Wayside Park
You can park and have a bathroom break and an amazing view of the valley below. Favorite for photography and for huge expanse of ocean Coastline.
5
Wailua Valley State Wayside Park
A small staircase brings you to view the whole valley below and the valley behind you. You'll think that you're in Jurassic Park territory. It's a larger than Life view. A must stop with a little bit of parking available from the state.
6
Upper Waikani Falls
Depending on the weather the day earlier this falls flows with amazing fresh water from the upper valleys as we passed by.
7
Ke‘anae Point
This amazing location is where the first Hawaiians found water on Maui. Taro fields and an 1800's church that are on display as we drive to the point where amazing pictures of waves crashing into black lava flows into the ocean. We're in good shoes while walking on the sharp rocks is advisable you can also stroll to a restroom stop and view the area.
8
Honomanu
Small, secluded black-pebble beach with waves for surfing & views of the surrounding green hills. This is off the road and requires an SUV. Our Lincoln navigator is perfect for this.

12
Haipua'ena Falls
