This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

just being on the water and the cold. Christian was a great guide and was very helpful when we weren't rowing correctly and taught us what to do. All the guides and Marty the bus driver were awesome. We look forward to coming back and doing type 3.

First time rafting. The class 2 rapids were a decent warmup to future trips. All guides were very experienced, helpful, and hilarious!! Of course the cliff dive was invigorating!! BTW, one of the riders with extensive back problems (5 herniated discs). Came through with no problems even after the jump. Great day!! Thanks to our guide Ian!!!

We had a wonderful time as a family adventure. The kids even got to cliff jump. Highly recommend this excursion!
