This morning was well spent with Alexander Hamilton. His knowledge of the city, the revolution, pre, and post; how society , our financial structure was amazing. American History of the beginnings of our country - I would encourage anyone interested to take this walking tour.

We did this tour on a whim last weekend and I'm so glad we did. Our guide, "Alexander Hamilton," was engaging and knowledgeable, and the two-and-a-half hours were packed with interesting tidbits. Taking this tour is a no-brainer for anyone interested in Hamilton, in the Colonial /Revolutionary period, or American history in general, but it's also fantastic for locals who want to know more about their city's history. There are so many locations that you would walk right past and never notice the plaque that tells you what happened there. It gave me a new appreciation for lower Manhattan and the history that surrounds us but we're often too busy to notice. It was a great way to spend a Sunday morning and I learned so much!

My wife and I are not strangers to NYC being from NJ and often stay over for dinner or a show. On Sunday May 21 we decided to spend our Sunday morning before returning to New Jersey on the Hamilton Live walking tour through lower Manhattan. The tour was beyond fantastic. Alexander Hamilton took us through lower Manhattan and visited many places of importance during the time when he lived in the late 18th and early 19th century. If your American history or American Revolution buff you’ll be very interested on this tour and will learn while having fun.. if you’re simply interested in Hamilton from the play you should find the connection very interesting LS there is no singing! The tour lasted approximately 2 1/2 hours and covered several miles through lower Manhattan at a very moderate pace. You will be given headphones which transmit Hamilton‘s voice so you can hear him during the tour. Anyone visiting lower Manhattan and is interested in the early times in New York City, don’t miss this tour. Even native New Yorkers will enjoy it.
