Disappointed because this was every bit as expensive as the more scenic 1/2 and full-day trail trips that were all sold out. We basically did figure eights in a field next to the dog pen and were not offered the experience to learn to mush the teams ourselves. And being the first and only run of the day... these dogs did what they do while pulling the sled... so it was quite a bit less glamorous than anticipated. Highlights were playing with the puppies that they have been breeding.

Musher Mike was great fun. 30+ years of training, racing, mushing made for great stories, sharing knowledge, and laughter. I sure hope he does write his book. Amy was very helpful, and Joe — is just so sweet and eye candy as well.

This was a delightful ride on a dogsled, and a wagon/sled ride pulled by horses. Opportunity for the brave among us to "mush" and to drive the horses. Staff could not have been nicer. Opportunity to interact with the dogs (and horses). About 2 hours total on the sled and horse sleigh. Picked up at our hotel in Jackson Hole. It's about 40 minutes to the ranch, so it's a good idea to book a tour for a time when you will be passing Moran on your way to (or from) Jackson Hole.
