Our public tour on our brand new 49 passenger vessel! Meet our Guest Rep at your cruise ship dock and board our courtesy shuttle. Enjoy a scenic ride to the Auke Bay boat harbor and return (about 25 minutes each way). A complimentary stop at the Brotherhood Bridge for a view of the Mendenhall Glacier is available before or after each tour depending on that day's schedule and weather. Enjoy the difference of a personalized tour! This 4 hour and 5 minute tour includes approximately 1 hour of round trip transfer time, 2.75 hours of whale watching/sightseeing cruise, walking on the dock to the boat, and bathroom breaks.

We took a whale watching tour with Alan, ship's captain, and Dale the ship's Naturalist. The weather was rainy and the seas were rough. Alan did an excellent job narrating the key land marks and working with locals to find pods of whales. Alan is knowledgeable of the local whale pods, the migration patterns and behavior of the pods. Alan identified several individuals within the pods. What was a miserable day for weather Alan made up for in locating the pods and photo opportunities. Thank you for the experience.

Saw Orca's, Humpback Whales breaching and sea lions. Wonderful Captain and crew. Enclosed baot helped on a rainy day.

Safety? Check. Humpback whales? Check. Dalton was our captain - he did a great job despite the rough weather we had. Waves were a bit high, between 4-6 feet. But a great time, nonetheless. If the weather gets rough and you tend to get seasick, I suggest getting a patch or taking something for it. My friend and I were both getting a bit seasick with all the rocking waves. Our naturalists on board were Nick and Sam and our bus driver was Don. All did a superb job! The humpback whales were a bit more active because of the rough weather.
