  • Children 15 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult in a double (tandem) kayak
  • The weight limit for a single-person kayak is 280lbs (127kg) and a double (tandem) kayak is 400lbs (181kg)
  • Check in is 15 minutes before the tour time.
  • Customers must be able to transport kayaks to the beach (15 min) on a cart and drag over the sand. They weigh 70lbs.
  • All guests must be able to swim

We went on the 2 1/2 hour guided kayaking tour. I am a travel RN. I have been on tours, hikes, luaus on Oahu. Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks truly was the best of times and really impressed us with their friendliness, knowledge and service! My boyfriend came in from Kentucky and we thought it would be fun even when we both had not been kayaking in years.......but no worries. Toby, out guide had our backs even when we tipped! I felt safe with our guide. I love history and Toby never stopped with giving us history and tidbits of the area. The views when we arrived at Flat Island were amazing. It was neat to see the bird santuary and the respect they give to nature and wildlife. It made us want to take the 5 hr guided kayaking. They provide a lunch choice and it was very good. We headed down to the Lankai beach on bikes and recieved snorkeling gear. My boyfriend wasn't too keen on snorkeling since he thought all he would see was "sand". But this adventure converted him, there was plenty of fish to see near the reefs. We had the best time and planning to go back to enjoy more that Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks has to offered. It is the best experience and you get so much more than you pay. Best bargain of fun, views and service!! Highly recommend!
