Overall it was a good experience. The captain, Max, was masterful getting us around the marina, showing us interesting sites, finding sea lions and giving interesting information about what we were seeing. But he was too free about sharing information about himself, personal information, stuff that made us a bit uncomfortable hearing. The other negative was that along with the wine and charcuterie which was very nice, there should be bottles of water on board for the passengers.

Thank you for your constructive feedback! We truly appreciate it and will address this. Regarding bottled water, we are committed to being environmentally friendly, which is why we do not use plastic bottles on board. Instead, we encourage our guests to bring their own water in reusable bottles, such as aluminum or glass, to help reduce plastic waste. For private tours, we do provide bottled water in glass bottles for our guests’ convenience. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us protect the environment.

Our mini cruise was a genuinely memorable experience from start to finish. The booking process was straightforward, and from the moment we met Captain Maxx, his clear communication and down-to-earth nature made us feel welcome. He demonstrated real care and compassion throughout the tour, ensuring that every detail was attended to. During the cruise, we enjoyed close encounters with sea lions, a relaxed spread of wine and cheese, and a beautiful sunset over the water. Captain Maxx went above and beyond with his 5‑star service, even taking wonderful photos of our day and sharing them with us afterward. It was a sincere, heartfelt experience that we won’t soon forget.

Dear Karen, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations. As mentioned in the description, this is a relaxing cruise around the marina designed for those who enjoy calm waters, scenic views, and the opportunity to spot local wildlife, such as sea lions. It’s important to note that this is not a zoo - sea lions are wild animals, and their presence can vary. Sometimes we encounter more, sometimes less, as it’s all part of the natural experience. Additionally, the boat used for this cruise is an electric cruiser, which ensures a quieter and more eco-friendly ride, but also means it operates at a lower speed. This is intentional to create a peaceful atmosphere and to respect the marine environment. If you were seeking a faster-paced or more interactive excursion, this might not have been the right choice. We encourage guests to carefully review the details of any experience to ensure it aligns with their preferences. Thank you again for your input, and we hope you find an activity that better suits your expectations in the future.
