Highly recommend this tour! Our guide Zack was amazing. I had a problem (of my own making) that they went out of their way to help us with and absolutely did not have to. The tour was informative and fun, we got wonderful photos, and it was just a great experience overall.

This was definitely something I’m glad I did while visiting the Big Island for the first time. Everything was organized and timed perfectly. Mitch was an excellent tour guide. He kept a great vibe going throughout the entire drive sharing a bit of island history, Hawaiian folklore, and took care of everyone overall. We stopped at the Mauna Kea visitor center to adjust to the altitude (9,000 feet) for 30 minutes before reaching the summit. Altitude sickness is real. Had a hard time adjusting, but once again, Mitch was looking out. They have oxygen available if need be. I didn’t get to that point, but glad it was available. We had a great spot to watch the sunset, and the star gazing experiencing afterward was worthwhile listening to both tour guides share their knowledge on what we could see that night in the sky. Even have an excellent picture to take home. Overall, recommend this experience.

This was a breathtaking experience. Our guides were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and professional - including when one group member got altitude sickness. The sunset was amazing and the sky gazing and stars afterwards with the guided astronomy lesson was also top notch.
