Overall the trip was fantastic. The company was accommodating when requesting to move my pickup point. Upon arrival, there were two tour guides and vans for the group. We were pre-assigned vans and did not get to choose our guide. I do not know them and wouldn't otherwise have a preference. However, in interaction with both guides on the trip and at stops, Robert seemed to be a bit more knowledgeable overall. He was high energy and gave a lot of context to all the information he was providing. His enthusiasm was contagious. If you are able consider planning your trip during a new moon when the night sky is not as bright creating more visibility for stars. And layer up, it is VERY cold.

An amazing experience!! The trip started in a small air conditioned bus and we met our guides part way up to get into a van. Both vehicles were comfortable. The van ride up was very bumpy! If you like rollercoasters you’ll love it. Our first stop was at the visitors center for a bathroom break and time for a snack. We spent most of our break waiting in line for the bathroom, maybe use the bathroom last… Next back in the van to climb the rest of the mountain for the most beautiful sunset you will ever see. The telescopes were huge and very cool to see. We had an amazing time! Would definitely recommend.
