We bought the blue and red line uptown and downtown 24 hour pass. We were robbed. The man recommended that we do the blue line 1st so we walked many blocks to get to the first blueline bus. What a messed up day they had they must’ve been down drivers or something. We waited and waited and waited when a bus finally came it was full we waited and waited and waited by the time another bus came and we did the blue line, it was at the end of the day. We went to get on the red line bus in a fight broke out between passengers and the bus driver sat there and watched and did nothing about it. I spoke up and got them all to calm down and everybody sat down finally we only had time to do one stop and had to get off the bus we never got the redline tour at all. This experience ruined our entire day in the city it was terrible. We paid $112 for this horrible experience ….

Do not get sucked into this .. you literally sit and bake in the sun for 20 minutes at each stop . So unorganized !!!! better off walking or cab

We bought a 24-hour pass -- about $125 for the two of us. What a disaster! Day 1, we waited in line at the designated starting point -- stop 17 at the Port Authority. We waited an hour for the downtown bus. The next day we went back to Stop 17 to take the uptown bus. We waited in line AN HOUR AND A HALF, in line outside in the sun. When the bus finally came, it was full and we weren't allowed on it. We were told that we would have to wait ANOTHER HOUR for the next uptown bus. We left, disgusted. We have taken hop-on hop-off bus tours all over the world. They have all been great EXCEPT this one. We asked for a refund as we were leaving NYC that day and couldn't try for another bus. We were refused and told they'd give us a voucher for a future trip. There won't be a future trip. AWFUL!
