I paid a lot for the ticket and the bus was always so crowded and the speaker didn’t work so I had no idea what was being said. I asked for an extension of my ticket so I could take the tour again and the company waited 2 weeks to provide it, by which time I’d obviously left. Poor customer service!

My family and I were visiting NYC the beginning of June 2021. We were approached in Time Square by a salesman for Top View Sightseeing. We thought It would be a cool experience to see the city on a tour bus, however we had members of our family with breathing issues that would need to be in an air conditioned vehicle, or they could have a health emergency. I explained this to the gentleman, who assured me It was air conditioned and would be fine for our family members. After a short walk we get to the bus and find out that It is in fact not air conditioned and is over 110 degrees on the inside of the bus. We spoke with the driver who told us It wouldn’t be safe for our family members with breathing needs, and to contact customer service. We walked off the bus and contacted the number for the company. The girl we spoke with was very apologetic, and told us to put this information in writing and email to the company. She let us know the refunds are processed 2x weekly and we’d have no issue getting It due to the circumstances. I sent in an email with this information, to which I received an automated reply. In total, I emailed the company 7 times. Some responses were automated, some promised to escalate my issue, others promised to send my email to the refund department so It would be handled. This wasn’t small change, we are talking about 325.00 for a family of 5. I did call in several times and leave messages with representatives who promised to have a manager call me back. Those calls never came. I was finally able to reach a manager today, 7/19 after another call in to try to reach someone. She was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and when I asked for her name she sat the phone next to her and was silent. I had to call back and ask the customer representative for her name, which was Marvalee. She did tell me that they offer no refunds because of a hot bus. I explained I completely understood, However that we were sold the tickets with the promise of an air conditioned space for my relatives. She told me that even if the “sales representative was deceptive they don’t offer refunds and that’s their policy”. I was floored. Not only were we lied to in order to get us to buy the tickets, but we were told by the bus driver It was unsafe conditions for my family members and he instructed us to leave the bus. I called in and was promised a refund that I’ve been chasing for nearly 2 months. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Marketing misleading : most of the staff rushed or untrained : bus passed popular spots due to being over capacity : “included options” were impractical - Ferry tickets went from a terminal not included on the tour , bike tickets did not include required helmets or insurance . Overall very poor experience .
