We lucked out and picked great weather to do this 3 hour walking tour of Brooklyn in. Greg was our guide: he was funny, interesting and a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. We ate a decent amount of food and consumed a nice amount of history too. The pacing was just about right. Would 100% recommend to a friend

Small group of 7 (which is always good news for this kind of tour) The guide, Brian, managed to convey a genuine sense of affection, enthusiasm and insight into these local neighbourhoods in Brooklyn and we very much got to meet the locals and hear their stories (and eat their food!). No sense of being rushed from place to place or ‘processed’ and being sold to all the time. Brian is a great traveller himself and it was fun swapping travel anecdotes with him and others in the group as well as hearing all about the culinary and cultural history of these Brownstone Brooklyn streets. No sense of us as the ‘dumb’ tourists with the ‘expert’ guide either. He made it inclusive without patronising anyone. Would highly recommend to anyone who prefers to get an authentic taste of the place they are visiting rather than a processed ‘experience’. 5 stars from me!
