We went there for a bike ride, at the northeast corner where there is a bike rental inside the park. After deciding what to rent and when the payment was done, they told me that the bike trailer for my 3 year old son was not available by that time and they wanted me to go with a different deal than the accorded 3 minutes ago, so I decided to cancel the ride because it was dangerous for my son and I told them that I could return later to check if the trailer was available, so they responded me that I could go and return 1 hour later so I’ll still have 2 more hours to ride since I payed for 3; because it where impossible to get my money back that I payed in cash just 5 minutes ago, $134 for 2 bikes, 1 tandem and 1 trailer. So I had to fight over my money because they did not kept their part, they have a strange way to do business. So better be careful.

We're sorry to hear that you had a negative experience, but our locations are just below Central Park at either 57th Street or 56th Street, not inside Central Park. Bike were not in good shape-gear changer rubbed on spokes, lock didn't fit over 2 bikes but they would only give one lock.

Great idea though I wouldn't recommend in 30 degree heat we ended up cutting our morning cycling short as it was just too hot. Park busy too with lots of other cyclists and people on roller blades but good fun. The place where you register and collect is on a very very busy street and in a very small shop so a bit chaotic. Staff v pleasant though.
