This tour was an adventure from beginning to end and Dante not only showed us samples of amazing NY fare but also we got to see parts of NY that I would never have seen on my own. The food we get comes from many traditional, long running family run businesses including places like Katz's Deli which is a very famous spot in NY. We had knishes (amazing potato dishes), doughnuts, dumplings and many other dishes and there is no pressure to buy anything else as you go along. We got to see an amazing food market, a sweet shop that just has to be seen to believe and all the while we had Dante with us who was a great entertainer and adapted the tour for our group. One member was a vegetarian and he made special effort for her to get items to substitute for the meat dishes we had. I suggest taking this tour early in your holiday and you`ll have a tonne of places to visit in the days after. Thanks Dante!

Nine of us did the Lower East Side Walking Tour and absolutely had a blast. We learned some history and fun facts, and tasted fabulous food along the way. Our group had various levels of physical fitness and Dante adjusted accordingly. Hard to say which stop was our favorite as everyone had their preference. It was a great day and highly recommended.

Dante was an awesome tour guide. He was knowledgeable of the area and the places he chooses on his tour are diverse and his favorite places. The businesses welcomed us and made us feel special as well Dante provided water on this not day. Our group was small and Dante gave every member of his group one on one time so no one felt excluded.
