Experience yoga while floating on the crystal clear waters of Honolulu, Hawaii. Standup paddleboard yoga is a unique adventure that combines the physical challenges of practicing yoga on a paddleboard with the majestic beauty of Hawaii’s oceans and shorelines. Classes available for all levels. Small group sizes ensure personalized attention from our highly qualified instructors, allowing each student to work at their own ability level. The SUP yoga classes include many familiar yoga poses adapted to the water. Most of the poses are done seated, kneeling, or lying down, with a few standing poses as well to work on balance and core stability. Free time is incorporated into each class, giving students a chance to try any poses they would like to work on. Classes end with traditional savasana, a meditation experienced lying on the board with the soft rocking of the oceans waves, fingers and toes trailing into the water, and the mind free to relax and let go.

My friend and I had been wanting to try SUP yoga for a while, and we are SO glad we did. I would highly recommend Yoga Floats. We did the evening/sunset class with Kelsey. She was a great teacher. Very clear about what to expect before we got on the boards, and she provided lots of options for all levels. She mixed calmness with humor (for example, when we fell in), which I really appreciate. She remembered our names. And she took GREAT photos. You should definitely expect to get wet, even if you don't fall in. You'll wade out waist deep to anchor and get on the SUP board. And the board will be wet when you're doing poses and lying on it. Bring a towel and a change of clothes!

Stand up paddle board yoga with Kelsey is an unmissable part of our Hawaii holidays, our whole family goes and enjoys a great workout that can be as easy or challenging as you want to make it. The setting is lovely and Kelsey takes great pics, she is the master of taking a shot that looks like you are a yoga master regardless of how short a time you could actually hold the pose!

The SUP yoga class was really great. Kelsey, who owns Yoga Floats are super cool and an excellent yoga teacher. It would be easy to get used to doing yoga like this!
