Our tour was advertised to include USS Arizona Memorial boat tickets, entry and admission to Pearl Harbor monument, as well as a city tour. We were also told that we were guaranteed to skip the lines. When we got to Pearl Harbor we were told to get in the standby line. We waited in line for over an hour and a half and it was not moving so we decided to leave the tour and take an Uber back to the cruise ship. This was very disappointing as this was to be the highlight of our trip. The tour guide, David, was very good and we felt bad leaving him but also felt like we had no choice. It was a waste of time and money.

We booked this trip because it included transportation from our hotel and guaranteed tickets to the Arizona Memorial. And that’s what we got. We also were able to watch the 24 minute movie. We would have liked to spend time in the museums and outdoor exhibits, but no time was allotted for that. The tour operator needs to add more time to this tour. Our guide was Robert and he was excellent.

I can not recommend this excursion. It is basically a very expensive ride to Pearl Harbor with no guarantee of seeing the Arizona up close. What is more disappointing is Viator’s lack of willingness to offer even partial refunds for unfulfilled excursions. Poor way to treat it’s loyal customers.
