Thank you Barb for a wonderful tour! We took Sunday 10am private tour. Came earlier and were able to find a free parking spot on the street! Having electrical bikes is the right choice for this tour. Otherwise it would have been a sweaty workout and not a fun and entertaining experience learning about Santa Monica and Venice with a knowledgeable guide. The bike path tends to get busy at times. Barb would stop and explain to us the challenges of every part of the path. Safety first!

We so enjoyed our afternoon of biking with our tour guide, Barb. We called her an hour or two before the tour reserve a spot on the 2pm ride and were told that no one had signed up, so there was no tour. Barb quickly said that she wasn't at the office but could be there in 20 minutes, and she promptly took the 3 of us in the group on a private ride, without charging us any extra fees. Beyond her accommodating us last minute, Barb took us on a very fun ride around Santa Monica beach and Venice, full of energy, enthusiasm, and area trivia. We spent about 3 hours riding, stopping at highlights for pictures/to people watch/get an ice cream. Be sure to bring sunscreen and comfy clothes. We had a blast.

I came to LA as a solo traveller for my birthday and on the last day decided to head to the beach as the night before I signed up for a tour with Pedal or Not. The best news was it was a private tour and I had such a blast with Barb. We cycled up Santa Monica and Venice and the weather was hot, hot hot! I love old Hollywood history and Barb was a wealth of information and had with her a book to show how the city had changed. I loved every minute of it and Barb and her husband have a cracking sense of humour and are so comfortable to be around. It was the perfect end to my trip and if you haven't explored the beach, this is the best tour to take. Coming back home, I want nothing more than an electric bike...they are the best and so easy to use!
