Kathy provides a wonderful tour of the Castro and it is clear she is very passionate and informed about the neighborhood and it's history. Dean and I enjoyed her unique perspective which was very inclusive. Was definitely a highlight of our trip to SF and no trip would be complete without it.

I returned for my second tour with Kathy 7 years later and the tour was every bit as informative and fun as I remembered. There's SO much fascinating heritage and pivotal moments in LGBT history in and around the Castro that could easily go missed by the casual visitor. No trip to San Francisco is complete without a cruise with Kathy!

I'm SO happy I heard about about this tour! It was the HIGHLIGHT of my solo trip to SF. I have been a big fan of Harvey Milk ever since I saw the movie. Since then, I've devoted lots of time in researching his legacy and did many school projects on him. Harvey is an incredibly important part of our countries history. If you want to learn more out him - go on this tour!!! He was a visionary that fought for gay rights, women's rights and over all HUMAN RIGHTS! Harvey's spirit and visions live on in The Castro. Walking the historic streets with Kathy was an unforgettable experience. Kathy is so knowledgable and truly caring! She will answer any question you have to the best of her ability. She is very professional and also embodies the spirit of The Castro! I appreciated how personal she made the trip for all of us. I told Kathy that my grandmother is a holocaust survivor and she made a stop at the Pink Triangle Park which was very meaningful for me. She was patient, kind and took photos of anyone who wanted one. I will definitely come back one day and do it again. I hope to bring my younger sister on the tour one day. It was a fabulous tour and I can't recommend it enough!Thanks Kathy!!
