On our Secret Food Tour: San Francisco, the Mission District, you'll see how immigrants shaped the neighborhood by creating brilliant artwork, beautiful architecture and sharing their fantastic food! Originally home to Irish, German, and Italian immigrants, it is now the epicenter of San Francisco's Latino culture.

The Mission District is full of vibrant murals that offer a visual history lesson featuring themes ranging from cultural heritage to social-political statements. We will take a stroll through the neighborhood to get an up-close experience.

Our tours are more than just the food. Our local guides connect the dots between history, culture, and cuisine to provide you with a deep understanding of the Mission District's thriving culinary scene!

The tour with Jamie was fantastic. His knowledge of the areas covered was incredible. Although we coveted a broad area, we never felt rushed. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Francisco.

Jamie Lesher was a fantastic guide who enriched our understanding of the Chinese and Italian neighborhoods as well as the San Francisco Cable Car Museum. He invited questions which added to our better appreciation of these communities and their place in San Francisco history. He is fun and personable so the tour was relaxed and easy to do. My friends and I had a grand time. We loved the delicious and plentiful foods that Jamie had selected. The other friendly participants added to our good time. Everything was excellent! Jamie made this tour an exceptional, delicious, and memorable experience.
