great tour. It is always a pleasure to have a tour guide who loves what they are doing. Shannon has done his homework to make the tour much more than just a see what you are looking at thing. It was like getting a history lesson of Savannah.

I signed up to take the Bonaventure Cemetery tour with Shannon Scott. Shannon did an excellent job and did not disappoint. He held my attention from the moment we met at the picnic table just inside the cemetery. If you are looking for a cheesy ghost tour, don't take this one. If you are looking for an amazing adventure in history and a glimpse of Savannah's past and not so past, this is the tour for you. Shannon is obviously very educated on the history of this beautiful city and it was evident. I will plan to do this same tour again when I return.

It was a dark, dismal day, but the tour with Shannon went on with a few umbrella pop-ups! Actually, the weather added to the ambiance of this famous cemetery! Shannon is an extremely talented storyteller and kept us memorized for over 2 hours!!! You need a guide to bring this huge cemetery to life! Be sure to bring bug spray and an umbrella/raincoat depending on the weather forecast. Shannon highlighted some of the famous people buried at Bonaventure such as Johnny Mercer which enticed us to rent the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil when we arrived home from our wonderful trip to Savannah! We highly recommend this tour rather than meander the grounds yourself. Well worth it!!!
