Neat tour but not worth the cost at all. We were in the middle of a high school soccer field with all kind of lights surrounding us as well as being off of a semi trafficked road that kept disturbing our night vision and tour. Tour guides were very kind and informative but not all that exciting. The group next to us seemed like they were having a more enthusiastic time. Wish we were taken somewhere more remote to see more stars without the telescope as well as with. Cool experience but would not say we got what we paid for.

The four of us were in a small group of eight. We sat in camp chairs and were provided with a set of binoculars for the four of us to share as well as a high powered telescope to share. Our guide, Rick Schafer, who had worked at NASA, and had also taught a college course in Astronomy, told us about the Solar System and explained nebulae as well as having us see one through the telescope. He led us to several different stars as well as explaining the rings around Saturn and showing them through the telescope. We also saw Jupiter. Through the telescope. It was a fascinating evening and I learned a lot! I would highly recommend doing it!

So glad we decided to book this o e for our Arizona trip! We were able to see so many starts, different constellations and Andromeda Galexy! Wes was super informative and we learned so much about what we were looking at. We went on a night with only a thin crescent of a moon which made the skies darker so we could see more! I loved using the binoculars they provided while my husband set the positions on the telescope. Such a beautiful night, the Milky Way was visible from horizon to horizon! Great experience!
